RISK OF ACCIDENT DUE TO IMPROPERLY INSTALLED OR INCOMPATIBLE COMPONENTS!

Improperly mounted or incompatible components can loosen or break while riding!

  • Installation must be carried out in accordance with these instructions or the component manufacturer's specifications.
  • The components must be selected taking into account the interfaces, the intended use and the maximum system weight.
DANGER OF ACCIDENT DUE TO SUDDEN FAILURE OF PRE-DAMAGED COMPONENTS!

A fall or unintended riding maneuvers can pre-damage your frame or components unnoticed. Pre-damaged parts can deform or break while riding.

  • Check all parts of your bike regularly and after a fall or accident for damage and malfunction.
  • Heavily loaded components must be checked regularly by a trained bicycle mechanic and replaced if necessary.
  • Damaged components must be replaced immediately.
DANGER OF ACCIDENT DUE TO IMPROPER HANDLING!

If the bicycle or components are handled improperly, parts of the bicycle may suddenly fail.

  • All maintenance intervals and activities must be observed and complied with - including those of the assembled components.
  • The max. system weight of the bike and its components must not be exceeded. (see "max. system weight).
  • The bicycle and its components may only be used within the scope of the respective intended use.
  • The regulations of the component manufacturers must be observed in addition to the regulations listed here.
Risk of damage to the frame by falling below the minimum insertion depth of the seat post!

If the seat post is not inserted far enough into the frame, the frame can break.

  • Push the seat post at least 15 cm into the frame!

The application of these regulations does not release the rider from the duty of care to keep the bicycle in safe operating condition. If there are any questions, it is essential to consult a trained bicycle mechanic or the ERMG Support Team.

Since it is impossible to foresee all situations or circumstances that may arise while riding, this user information does not guarantee the safe use of the bicycle under all conditions. There are risks associated with the use of bicycles that cannot be predicted or avoided and are the sole responsibility of the rider.
